Application
- DIACETONE ALCOHOL exhibits chemicals
properties of both alcohol and ketone.
- DIACETONE ALCOHOL is used as a high
boiling solvent in brushing lacquer formulations, hot spray lacquers and epoxy resin based
surface coatings. It is a very good solvent for Nitrocellulose and Cellulose acetate
butyrate, used in bangles and photo film industries.
- DIACETONE ALCOHOL is used as a high
boiling solvent for many dyestuffs in the textile and printing industries. It is also
useful in removing printing ink from rubber based printing rollers. It is good solvent for
separation of Hydrocarbons.
- DIACETONE ALCOHOL is an important raw
material manufacturing moderate duty Hydraulic Brake Fluid.
- DIACETONE ALCOHOL is used as
intermediate in the manufacture of Mesityl Oxide, Methyl Isobutyl Ketone, Methyl Isobutyl
Carbinol , Hexylene Glycol , Methoxy hexanone etc.
