Application

ISOPHORONE is used in resin lacquer, silk screen ink, coil coating and metal decorative coating formulations as a most preferred solvent due to its outstanding dissolving power for a large number of binders, resins and other chemical products. use of isophorone imparts high storage stability, improves the flow and heightens the gloss of the formulation.
ISPHORONE is used in PVC and vinyl co-polymer processing on account of its universal solvent power.
ISOPHORONE is used as a carrier solvent for herbicide Propanil for rice crop.
ISOPHORONE is used in the manufacture of meta xylenol which is used in antiseptic applications.
ISOPHORONE is used in the manufacture of trimethycyclohexanol which is a substitute for synthetic menthol.
ISOPHORONE is an attractive chemical intermediate for the manufacture of industrially important compounds such as Isophorone Diamine, Isophorone Diisocyanate, Trimethylcyclohexanone etc.
